New "VP Wheel Widners" for VP Method and KMC Enduro Wheels

First off. Thanks so much for all the info. Now I'm looking at the pics of the two tires one with the spacers and one without. The tread patch doesn't really look that much different to me? What? Maybe a few mm? I don't know but do I really need these? Is it more of an aesthetic thing as far as looks? I'm no expert by any means so if you guys say ya buy em' I will. Again Thankyou!

I have the TSL XL Swampers and I want to pick up some VP wheels. Are these wideners just for the original narrow wheels or will I need them to mount the SS on the 1.2" wide VP wheels also?

Anyone know the answer to this? Do I need these with the 1.2 vp
Wheels or just the narrow originals?

Yes you need the wideners but not sure what vp means by the ss xl's are not easily compatible with the vp wheels if it's the width or what but if it is the width this is your answer but if it's bead or something else I'd find out bud not sure if you noticed it says that on their site

Yea I saw that. I assumed it wAs the width but I have seen lots of ss on vp wheels so I know it can be done. And I think the bead is also different which may cause a problem too.
So is this guy still making these wideners? Cause I Pmd him and haven't got a response

The 1.2 wheels should be fine without wideners. With wideners I think it would be too wide. They are more difficult to mount because of the bead. The 1.2 wheel is similar to the original narrow wheels with wideners.

He does still make them but he is very busy and they won't be avaiable for a couple months. Hopefully.

Very nice solution.

I'm interested in a set or two for Methods when you're able to get production going again.
