Wussies... :)

turned out to be a very busy weekend. I was at the high school all day helping my daughter build her AP Portfolio showcase. She was one of 10 students selected to... compete. Highest graded/points showcase wins a $500 check and scholarship to be used for art classes. ;-)

And then I cleaned the kitchen and started a lasagna while the girls went to get dress for tomorrow... which let me remove all 3 servos and remove 1 screw from the new HiTec when they got back, which meant it was time to build the lasagna!
I get done building the lasagna, throw it in the oven thinking I'm going to get back to the servos when the wife says it's Breaking Bad time... so now, we're watching Breaking Bad, Season 3, episode 10. "thumbsup"

Never done the TJ, but it will be similar to the JK. Work out your WB. If you check out my EB build you will see how to build a simple jig for doing that and for making your links.

Normally ther is not enough room for the stock interior unless you use a transfer case. But easy enough to use parts of the interior and make a hump to cover the tranny and use a cargo cover to cover your electronics. Body mounts are tough but be creative.

I don't think I'll be making it out there for that possible GTG tomorrow at Roselle. I gotta get some work done.

i got called into work today, just now got home... freaking advertising is not as cool as madmen would have you think. most my time is either staring at a screen or being in a conference call. there are alot of hot chicks though....

anyway, i wont be out tomorrow. got chores and going to see the new burton movie at the imax.

So this is what I did for a few hours last night.

Looks good! Those wheels aren't buckshot's though. The other wheels you have of mine are buckshot's. Those new wheels don't really have a name so, go ahead and come up with a name because, besides the aluminum set that I have floating around, your the only one with those wheels. "thumbsup"

Trying to get my new trailfinder 3-link system to work on my BruteRuptor chassis.
I cant recall the last time I swore this much in one sitting. Had to move a bunch of stuff around. Drill into the frames etc. Total headache and not worth it, but hey I wanted to be different right?

Serves me right.
Stupid ego.

To get a ther link to work rights, it take patience. My Big Red Hilux has 3 link front and leaf rear on an SCX10 chassis. But it will work, lol.

What chassis do you have? My BruteRupter chassis was a decent amount wider than a tf or tf2. I dont know why I chose to go this chassis route, BUT..

I did not end up using the s-brackets that come with the kit but instead drilled just 2 holes in the frame rails (1 hole on each side) and I ran the links for the fork and axle off of the same bolt. I think it looks cleaner although it seems that I now have too much articulation for scale class. Only other issue I am having is that my 1.55 tires are slightly rubbing on the shock spring. I believe I will have to come up with some sort of bracket now to bolt my shock to on the top to keep it from catching. I would like to run 1.9s at comps if we will not be doing a class 1.

Bleh.
