Got my Powertank and Extinguisher from Norm and let me tell you, these things are killer. So realistic. A bit expensive but you are defiantly paying for craftsmanship. Here they are with my new TTC driver, Duke Nukem.

Well, I lost out on the Mog, Oso got an offer for the whole;e truck so no part out. Glad he got his price, it is sometimes too damn tough to sell these things with all we put in them. So I am back to doing a 6X6 Mog on my own.

First is my new class one Hilux. Gotta start a build thread soon. Ordered the body, bed and assorted body parts, Reign Cab back, windows, Drop bed kit and interior kit form Pardonmynoob, Novak Goat 3S and 18.5 motor, Axial Axles, Aluminum Chubs and Knuckles, Robinson Gears, SCX10 Chassis, HR internal Spring shocks, Bumpers and skids with boat sides. Still have to figure out a rear cantilever for it, but I have built plenty in the past, tossing between using a set of MERV Cant mounts or using a set of the Axial Carbon Fiber axle braces to make my own and the OMG build has. Going screaming Cherry Red on the paint. Running the new 1.7 IROKs stretched over a set of PRO10 Black wheels. So times a coming, lol. Oh and need to find some overdrives and figure out shafts, but can't do that till i get parts in and get a wheel base set.

I thin k I am going to sell all my stuff and just drive one of yours :ror:

lmao. Well, All I have running are my EB, Wraith and Lancer. Big Oly is torn down and waiting on paint and assembly, My C1 Hilux is a shelf Queen and my Mog is a bunch of parts in a box. The new C1 Hilux is worse, it is a bunch of boxes in the mail.

I just ordered alum steering kit for my "Mayhem" this morning. I need to get a servo winch installed. I was driven last night. I think beside my slash 4x4 that has to be my favorite rig to drive.

Ah it was a thought. But I went the other direction. I bet it doesn't sell ether.

I never give my stuff away. :ror::ror:

:ror: Me too!
Yesterday, I could have sold all my micro crawler stuff (which I never use), but I priced it way to high. If the guy would've bought it for the asking price I would've had to of sold it... it's hard to let these things go after you put soooo much work into them.

I'm trying to force myself to come up with fair prices and post it all this weekend. I thought about going ebay... but then that could turn into a hassle and I could loose even more.

I just gotta keep telling myself, must fund the PAYPAL!!!

I don't know, I build so many that I end up parting them out more often or trading for something else. Oso got his asking price on the Mog but that is rare. And If I am done with a truck, list it for sale, I am not going to keep sitting on it and having it take up space for months. Rather get something for it. Been in RC too long to ever think something is work more than I have in it, no mater how much work you do, and used stuff is just too likely to have been beat on.

I have had (just crawlers)
- 3 Honchos, one of which was rebuilt into a Hilux then traded, the other 2 were parted out.
- 2 High Lifts, Hilux I still have, F350 was parted out
- D90 Gelande - Traded
- Timberwolf - Traded
- Berg - Sold
- Brute - Parted out
- EB - still have it
- Big Oly - still have it
- R1 - traded
- XR10 - still have it
- Wraith - still have it
and I have piles of 1.9 and 2.2 tires and wheels, a couple sets of Axial Axles, a couple Axial Trannys, 8 or 10 motors, radios and servers, 3 chassis and boxes of assorted parts plus my materials for brazing and welding parts.

On the Go Fasts:
- Stampede 4X4 - still have it
- Lost High Roller - still have it
- DF03ra Lancer - still have it
- RC10B4 FT - gone
- RC10T4 FT - gone
- RC10GT - gone
- TC5 - gone
- Lost 1.10th SLider - gone
- MGT 8.0 - gone
- Losi LTS2 XXL - parted out
- eRevo - gone
- eRevo BL - gone
- Summit - traded for a Highlift Kit
- Stampede - gone
- Rustler - gone
- Rustler VXL - parted out
- SC10 Parted out
- Slash - gone
- Blitz - gone
- Koysho DB - gone
- Ofna Hyper10 SC - gone
- RC8TE BL - traded
This is not coating the original Cats and RC10s I raced or the 5 Clods we had, or 3 Helicopters, 2 planes and 2 boats.

This hobby can consume you and your wallet, that is why i usually only build when my sales support it or I draw from my personal savings that is just for toys. I never touch household money or retirement money.

If you can get someone to give you a grand for a truck, more power to you, but I have some nice stuff and none of them have a grand in them. I got what I asked for in 95% of my sales, a couple I took trades on that were not worth as much as I wanted but it was for an item I wanted. The opposite is true too, I have received some amazing stuff in trades for items that I though were so so.

My micro price was fair, less then it would cost to build and included lot's of extra parts (even a 2nd tx and rx/esc)... just on the high end of used.

That is really the key, price it fairly, make repeat customers, fund you other builds and you can't lose. I have been sitting on parts that really are not in my way and that i MIGHT have a future use for because people haven't offered me what I wanted, but oddly enough yesterday and today 3 of this items moved at just want I wanted.

Right there's my problem. I actually have a sweet 1:20 scale Ford hard body that I've wanted to build. The micro axles fit under it perfect! It's so scale it's ridicules! The wheels go up into the fenders the perfect amount.
BUT
If I use the micro axles and drive train, the thing will just not have the power to be fun... it'll be scale... just sorta... useless.

So, I'm thinking of keeping 1 set of axles and the BWD wheels and RC4WD tires and maybe Sven's chassis... then sell everything else as a rtr with plenty of extras for a much lower price.

Here it is before I stretched and widened the wb... I do love this lil' guy.
