No Brainer BEC

These are legit! I seem to have lost my soldering iron somehow, and am currently building a new scx10 right now and need a bec. Plus i always here about your products. I guess it is time to try them out!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, which I probably am, but couldn't you just use a receiver battery and have the same plug and play feature?

That sounds very different to me. Now you have to carry around an extra set of batteries, and you how are you addressing the issue of powering the receiver at one voltage vs powering the servo at another?

Are the no brainer bec's adjustable (voltage output) if it has a blue pot on it?

Yes. I believe I have only installed blue pots on these parts.
I think you posted this picture earlier:

You can just make out the adjuster (brass coloured screwdriver slot) on the blue block in the bottom right area.

Connect a voltmeter to the red and black wires on one of the output connectors to read the output voltage.

Just got the dual Bec for my R1. Works perfectly, I would suggest lengthening the battery leads, not a problem in my cramped space but could be troublesome in other rigs.

Question, what voltage is it set at out of the box? I didn't even think to check

Hi,
Thank you for the feedback.
I agree the wire length might be too short for some. Others don't want to deal with the extra length.
I preset the output voltage to six volts before I ship them unless a different voltage is requested from the buyer.
Thanks,
Al
