I live in cda, where you gonna build the course, I can get rocks, lots of rocks (hence the name dirtman being an excavator has its perks), just might have to have something to unload them if they are too big.

Wow this thread did not go very far... We need more in Rathdrum to start a crawling group. I have a great area to use. If you grew up in Rathdrum you know the area behind the alternative school. Great area to crawl.!!!

Bump

The rc crawling "scene" is very small up here. I'm in Bonners Ferry, but end up down in post falls/cda area often enough.

I did find this site on Google that was helpful Corbin Park is pretty good.

I'd also like to do a comp, rc crawled off and on for years and never done it.

How'd...

There are two very active clubs here in North 'Ho.
OGRC (Old-Guys Rock Crawlers) and INWRC (Inland North West Rock Crawlers).
OGRC is a bit smaller of a group, and a lot more mellow; INWRC is a bit more amped up, so it really depends on how you get along with either group.

Both groups have a great group of members, and all are welcomed at comps and events. INWRC pretty much shuts down for the winter; OGRC tries to have one or two indoor events each month over the winter, the mini crawlers and 1/14 scale semi trucks were popular.

Both groups have Farce Book pages, which are well managed, and that is where they organize events.
