Official Reveiw,,,Pit Bulls "Rock Beast" 2.2 Prototype

Hey guys, where can I order these tires? Can I order them direct from Pitbull site? I live in Vancouver-CANADA

Thanks

Only fitting to put Pit Bulls on my Bully......sheesh, now I have to get ANOTHER set of rims.......:roll::lmao:

Dez, thanks for the write-up....looking forward to seeing you (and the rest of GSRCRC) again.....IF the snow melts......:lmao::lmao:

i ran these tires for a few comps on a v3 berg v2 axle and hated them. i could not get them to hook up at all with any foam except for proline dual stage memory foams without the inner stage. and they really only work on a light rig 5 3/4 lbs. or less wich is pretty light for an moa car. they worked great on a ax10 with nothing special just set up to comp and win. the tires themselves are just to soft. they dont wrinkle and grab they end up wadding up and then loosing traction. hope it helps or is useful to someone.

man,,im sorry to hear that,,,,my comp rig for last season was heavy,,almost 7lbs,,my new rig weighs almost 6lbs and they work just as well if not better for me,,i agree the carcass is soft,,how ever when set up right they hook ,,and as they get broken in they are awesome,,finding the right set up for your driving style is key though..

I am gonna star a 2.2 truck build, and i want to do it arond these tires. What wheels and foams should i get for a decent set up to tune from? thanks. I have Pit bull tires on my ATVs and on one of my trucks, hope these will do just as well. No comps just for me.

id recommend the dos piezas foams for the tires and pick a wheel vendor here. they all make great quality wheels that will hold the bead. ive never lost a bead with any of my eritex wheels no matter how bad i was bound up "thumbsup"

the Dos Piezas foams are a top notch choice for the Rock Beasts,,wheels would be a personal choice for me,,find a set you like and can afford,,if your not comping you wont need anything to crazy,,unless you want em ..as mentioned before any of the wheel vendors here on RCC will be more than able to help "thumbsup"

So finally got my rock beasts together with some new wheels and dos piezas foams. Definitely they seem very soft and I hope they perform good especially on wait and slippery rocks.

On another note ...are these tires directional ? or I can mount them anyway I want ?

Will post some pictures as soon as mount the tires on...

Finally got something built to put these on. Done some testing this past weekend. So far love how the tires and foams perform!"thumbsup"
