I saw it on the news that it cant play most PS2, and PS1 games and i cant play a few of its own games and the Xbox 360 aint crap dude its alot better than any system in my opion. And pluse I only play Xbox for Halo, Halo2, and soon Halo3. And the only playstation game I play is Guitar Hero[1 and 2] And anyways Guitar Hero is going to come out for the Xbox 360 soon. And anyways PS3 isnt 5x more porwerfull its just part computer which is the dembist idea i ever heard for a system. Xbox aint slow. The 360 I think is big enough and the PS3 you take up more room. Plus why would they make it 60-20g of memory when most people will probally only use about 5g top.

That is very true, But I have not dropped 3gs on any scale crawler Im not hating on video gamers at all. Like I said I was int video games. I have every fawking resident evil game ever made. I have the original, the directors cut original, redisent evil 2- played it until I could play as HUNK which was one of the umbrella ops, then I bought the dual shock mode resident evil and played it to I unlocked the mini game where you can play as Ada and shiat, resident evil 3- played that till I got the mini game at the end, I also have code veronica and all that others in between...even the horrible 1st person view ones :roll:

My point is, I can see someone wanting it really badly, thats fine, thats your thing... I can even see paying a 1 -2 thousand dollars (after all its 600$ to being with)...I have that probably that much into some of scale rigs... but when people are paying 5gs... I just think thats a little out of hand... just my 2 cents though... My original comment wasnt ment to attack anyone

To defend the PS3 again the fact that the PS3 is part computer is going to allow for plug an play peripherals and such......and the 60g and 20g HD's are going to allow for some vastly superior games to hit the market. Games, the likes of which we've never dreamed about, i expect big things from the PS3, its going to revolutionize the gaming market IMO.

I use 53 gigs of memory for my 360. The 20 gig harddrive in the console and then the other 33 is on my computer hardrive connected thru my wireless router.

I think the Ps3 is it is just like the 360 with just some differences, it is just like jeep and toyota. People will always have different opions on which is better. Oh and by the way my brother got his this morning plugged it up and said is was crap and is selling it on ebay.

i play ps1 games all the time on my ps2, in fact i started another game of gran turismo 2 yesterday

I don't think i'm ever going to invest money in a new console, i have more fun spending my money on rc's

For that reason and the fact that it is a Blueray disk player*, is the only reason I was going to go sit in front of a store last night. I talked one of my friends into coming with me so he could "claim" the other one for me. Buy 2 for $1200 sell 1 for ~$1500, keep mine for free + a game or two.

*Right now Blueray disk players are going for about $1000, get a PS3 for $400 (20Gig) or $500 (60Gig) and that alone is worth the price...if you want a Blueray disk player. Im sure in time just like DVD players the price will drop allot, but not that much in the next year.

I asked my foreman if it was ok for me to come in a little late so I could do this, he said it was ok. He left work before I did and drove past the store I was going to go to, he called me up and said there was about 30 people in line already. I drove by after I got off work and there was more people than that.
Needless to say I didnt go.

Mattdg, it helps to actually know a little about a product before spilling BS. oh and Ill let you in on a little secret...the MICROSOFT 360 (and so is just about every gaming counsel, if you want to get technical )...is also part computer. Who would of gussed that the company that made its billions on computer software and computers would put that same stuff in a gameing counsel?
