Opinions on best wire for electronics

Some real world tech for everybody.......

I just hooked up a 50mv-50A shunt to my Axial that has HH 35t motor, HH 1300 3cell lipo, HH BRXL.

If the tires were turning at all (almost stalled, my idea of a bad bind), it was below 30 amps. If I held the thing dead still (full stall), it peaked at 78 amps (and tripped the LVC). Under a pretty heavy load, it was around 15 amps. All of this was at full throttle. No load full throttle was 2 amps.

So, if the rig can move at all, you can bet it's drawing less than 20 amps. I stand by my "16 gage wire is plenty"

If you want to have the least possible resistance when fully bound up, go ahead and run the wet noodle.
