1:1 and scale are two different worlds As far as tire performance.

Both treads recently pictured look good and are scale to a 1:1 tire.

I actually like the klr looks much better. Tread pattern makes little difference performance wise in the scale world. Otherwise we all would be running treps or BFGs.

twissted this is not the thread to pimp your youtube. i doubt you be putting 4.75s on a summit and its obvious this tire from voodoo isnt up your alley, so stop. btw your tread pic is pretty much an old 2.2 imex all terrain...

Your wrong about that. This is about tire design and I was giving my input as to it. The size doesn't matter to me. The you tube video that you took away for your own pleasure shows a lot about your input. I thought this about sharing ideas. But your showing us all that it isn't. Bashing positive input seems to be what I'm getting here. I'm telling you that this design that Vodoo has doesn't have enough forward bite to it. I show a video of a design that does. Now we have what?

I do like the new design that isn't out yet (pg 13). I wasn't talking that design. I was talking about the PIT Bull tires that are on the buggy above that is going to Axialfest. Great looking tube work by the way!

This thread is "Not" about tire design, this thread is about the introduction of the new Ottsix Voodoo KLR 1.9 tire.

If you'd like to talk about tread design and comparisons here's a suggestion for you, Start a new thread!

twissted, im going to say it one time.

try me.

but im gonna leave your two posts after i requested you to stop just so everybody can see your side...

We've made some headway on the pricing. We're looking at an msrp of $30 for a pair. They'll be available in all three VEX compounds.

A ton of engineering and foot work went into the design of this tire so it took quite a bit of time to just complete the CAD file (anyone who has CAD experience can attest to that lol)

As most of you know, the mold making process can be very time consuming as well. The factory we contract with manufactures very sophisticated, high end molds and there's no rushing the process...so hang in there!

Do you have an estimated time frame on these by any chance? I might just have to buy another 1.9 wheel set so I can keep my boggers and have a set of these. I'm willing to be a tester too."thumbsup"

It's really hard to say at this point...right now it's all about getting that mold made. If the factory is busy with other mold making projects, it's going to slow the process, and that's completely out of my hands.
