Panther Cougars

I'm gonna go by my lhs today and pick up a set.

Before I do that I need to ask, has anyone come into any problems mounting these on the stock AX10 wheels? I haven't upgraded my wheels yet, but I'd like to go ahead and try the Cougs out on my stockers.

I have some on some stock Axial wheels, and I had no problems putting them on, and no beads popping off. Good to go!

Yeah buddy! Welcome to the Panther club, it's a good place to be.

Remember, foam tuning is pretty important. "thumbsup"

I used the stock mem's and I used about 1/4" Team trinity hard foams for my sidewall. Seems like a good combo. With this set-up the tires don't wrinkle as much as the ones in the popular videos that are posted... but the sidewalls are very strong and the tires still outperform the Losi claws. more wrinkle = better? or more wrinkle = less sidewall strength? I suppose that I have to come to a happy medium.

Well I did it, found out I had 40$ on Tower hobbies left over from a return, spent it on Panthers"thumbsup"

Put them on today (rears- super soft, fronts- memory with pineapple slices) promptly made a line that was impossible for any rig until now... all I can say is... WOW

anyone got the specs on these things? been searching around, no width, diameter, rim size, not even the manufactures websites info: compound tyrpe - qty = 2 per order.. 87 in stock.. thats it.

I can help you out there. Width lug to lug (depends on width of rim to be sure) is around 55mm and the height is around 120mm. These are 2.2 tires so the rim size would be 2.2"

Measuring mine mounted on DL wheels (same off set/width as Axial) They measure-
5 1/8 tall
2 1/8 width
And they are the red dot compound"thumbsup"

Hope this helps...
