I doubt it...its almost a Panther trademark.

I own a ton of Pather Tires...they all have the flashing on the bead area like this (little tiny flash tabs that easily come off, not like Losi or Pro-line flash which you need a Ginsu Knife for...luckily Losi and Pro-Line is typcally flash free). Flashing is also on the center of the tire.

My Switches for my buggy are the same, as were the Switches for my Revo (38 Series Truggy), same for my switches for my 1/10th truck. Oh and bon't forget the Pythons I own.

Again it isn't gross mis-molding flash. It's very thin and peels right off without need of scissors. Almost honestly like its designed to have this light flash to prevent possible terrible flash...?

Quite a bit actually...my Hammers and Claws on the narrow Drastics were the same height, the Cougars are taller on a wider wheel...:shock:"thumbsup"

These are also way softer than the M2 Hammers and Rock Claws, but somehow seem to maintain a good sidewall strength.

Geez, looked like Losi Rock Claws at first glance. I guess if your going to copy someones tread design, copy the best, that's what happens when you can't think up your own. Yeah, I know, I know, it's just different enough not to get the lawyers involved! Blatant maybe?

Apparently you don't understand patent or copyright laws. Losi neither has a Trademark or Registered Mark on the name "Rock Claws", nor do they have a design patent on the tread pattern. Lawyers need a case, copying isn't gonna cut it if the deisgn isn't protected by a design patent.

While they look similar the side wall is completely different as is the tread...looks can only go so far, performance is what we are after.

This is very true. There was a point in time when the parent company of Panther manufactured Losi tires. This was many many years ago, though.

Panther's compounds are their own. The only copying going on in that department is other companies trying to achieve what Panther has as far as compound goes.

Trust me, the similarity between the 2 tires ends at the tread pattern. The difference in the rubber compound is as great or greater as Imex verses Losi, maybe more. These tires get more grip on glass than losi gets on anything.

The traction you gain from the compound of these tires are just silly at times.
What you are so used to experiencing when climbing, sidehilling, etc., you will be surprised when you experience the Panthers excel from the norm.
This compound is just on a different level. "thumbsup"
