WOW !!!! Go to work for a few hours and this thread blows up.
But on a serious note, Panther takes alot of time and puts alot of effort into making a great product. With the multiple compounds they offer, it makes tuning your rides a breeze. I think this is whats going to make them stand apart from all others. I am really anxious to see how they do on the rocks in EeePee's territory.
Just got the tracking number on mine.....kinda got me all warm and tingly inside. LOL
DK......Hit me up later, I am headed out to the RC Pro Series.![]()
if it works well why screw with it?
B/c there is already a tire that looks a lot like this and the pattern could be approved on for better side hilling. Maybe just angle them more like a Masher.

The similarity in tread design doesn't bother me.
Look at the large number of off road tires that look "similar" but don't perform anything alike. There is much more to a tires performance than just the tread pattern.
I think the Panther tires looks fine, it's not like Losi designed the Rock Claw thread pattern to be crawler specific. The basic tread pattern had been used for a long time on several other Losi tires.
Thankfully the thread pattern along w/ the rubber compound, and carcass turned out to be a fantastic tire.
Now we are getting another great tire. I'm sure the Panther tire will be a fantastic performer and will win it's fair share of comps, just like Losi and Pro Line.
I think we agree on something for the first time ever LOL
Jason....are you getting a set of these?
I was told I would be getting a set. If so I might just have to run them at the Montana comp.

My opinion is that they held sidehills very well. If you look at the Panther tire, it has a lot more angular tread bar design. I would say try them before you assume they won't hold very well, you might be surprised.
I was told the same thing. Hopefully the folks that were at RCX didn't loose my business card with my addy on it. I'd really like to see how these tires work in the Nor-cal area.
I mounted up the Super Softs, and they are quite something I must say. No other tire I've ever come across has felt like this.
