PFB's Gelande FJ40

You need to sell me a radiator for my FJ project!! I love that! I guess I will be in for my surprize when I go to mount my leaf springs! I never thought about the trans & transfer case!! Yikes!! I am truly scared of my skills!

You do awesome work!! Your FJ is looking sweet!!

That radiator is perfect!"thumbsup" your slave robot does great work, and your ride height looks spot on. Taking notes for my cruiser to make it suck less.

Thank you sir!

The bleach did the trick on the chrome. If you have little patience like myself.....just scuff and paint it. Probably not worth the time it takes. I'll use hvac tape to get the light buckets shiny again. Mounting divots are set and this thing is ready for paint.

I cheated and bought the CChand step and bumperettes. Only broke one 2mm tap off in the part but luckily the bumperette brackets are large and hide the "fix". Is anyone elses rear bumper a different thickness from one side to the other. Mine is like 3mm off. Someone forgot to tell the spinny-cut robot how to cut straight.

70mm shocks don't really fit in this orientation. I will have to move it around or get a longer shock for some more travel.

Wow. I know I'm biast towards any Land Cruiser, but this really looks good. Pretty please ad more pics of your progress. I'd love to see the final product.

Back from the dead, finally got around to getting this thing finished over the long weekend. Still lots to do, but I want to get it in running form to drive it. Got everything painted up and some ink washes in the panel lines and vents. Much more weathering to come.

Really happy with how the grill turned out. The mounting hardware and divots really change the look of these.

Beautiful job!! AAA++++! I wish I had your skills! I have this kit but am trying to do the spring on top of axle version. I am lazy and slow and haven't touched my project in over a year. I doubt it will ever get finished but I will never sell it....hahaha. :)

I too struggle to find motivation to finish builds. Been getting the building bug again lately so it was time to get this finished. Paint always seems to be my "brick wall" I hate painting.
You should try picking a night each week that you set aside to work on the truck. You may be surprised how quickly it will get done. If you run into problems, use the forums to reach out for help/suggestions.
