Hi there guys I kinda lost my old pinion gear and was wondering what gears everybody is using and would suggest me get for my axial crawler

The answer actually depends on the rig, type of motor,number of turns the motor has, the terrain you are driving on and how you drive.

For a generic answer for Axial rigs, try to get close to a 5:1 spur to pinion ratio.

Here is a starting point.
87t 48p --> 16t or 17t pinion
80t 48p --> 16t pinion.
56t 32p --> 11t 32p pinion

Then you need to run the rig the way you are going to use for about 5 minutes and then check the temperature of the motor and ESC. If it is running too hot then you need to drop the pinion a tooth and try again.

I keep an assortment of different size pinions on hand so I can turn my rig if I make any significant changes.
