pirate4x4.com/ is up for sale!

Domain info:
Record expires on 06-Jan-2013
Record created on 07-Jan-1998
Database last updated on 12-Jan-2008
Looks like the domain expired on (probably) January 6th, 2008 and the domain owner forgot to renew so it was temporarily deactivated. All sorts of reports about the site being probably started flooding in, and then somebody got on updating the domain registration for 5 years this morning!

Depending on where you are located, it could take 12 to 24 hours for the info to update so you can get to the site...

I wouldn't worry about somebody scooping up the domain though. Now a days, the registrar will give you the benefit of the doubt and hang on to it for about 30 days after the expiry to give the original owner a chance.

Man that sucks. Jason don't you know a few guys over there? I've already E-Mail a few guys asking whats up.

They forgot to renew the domain. It has been taken care of, and is working for some people. It could take 24 to 48 hours for DNS to update and give everyone access again.

Only way I can get on is to turn off Javascript and follow the link about.

It works for me:?

X2...not that unusual for a site to do that near registration renewal time...sometimes it's the regsistrar's fault for not being on the ball even though the site owner already paid.

Yeah, so today is Pirate4x4.com's 10 year anniversary... And to celebrate, I forgot to pay the domain name renewal. LOL Anyhow, it's been taken care of, and you should be able to see the site very soon.

Lance

Nice way to celebrate :flipoff:
