I go to CSM and I was woundering if there is any places to crawl close to, or preferably in Golden. I can sometimes spare an hour from studying my a$$ off, and I need a place I can go crawl that wouldn't take to long to get to. Thanks for any help.

The elementary school by Red Rocks has some sweet terrain. The whole ridge that's east of the school has a bunch of good lines.

Just down the street on 6th under the road there is a rock dam that is a great spot

You could even walk the bike path form school
Another close spot is Mathews Winter Park? I think that is what it is called.

The school is next door to Red Rocks Ampitheater in Morrison.

Were exactly under 6th are you talking about? I can't seem to think of a place "under" 6th.

There is a pedestrian tunnel that goes under the road. Next to the tunnel is the bike path and a small dam. There a sign for the Fossil Trace gollf course right there.

The elementary school is a nice site, just make sure you go out there after their school lets out or on the weekends. I got chased out of there last week by a teacher.

If you don't mind a drive the Flatirons aren't far in Boulder. I wheel there all the time and as long as there aren't to many people the park rangers are cool with it.

Yeah, I'll have to drive out there one of these days when I have some time. Finals start this weekend so I doesn't look like I'm going to be do anything but studying my a** of for the next week.
