Well, there is the movie thread, but there are lines from songs that always stick with me.

In order to make this more fun, don't post the artist and lets see if people can guess.

Here are a few easy ones to get us going:

"It doesn't mean that much to me, to mean that much to you"

"I like my jeans and my old t-shirts and a couple extra pounds never really hurt"

all of a sudden i found myself in love with the world so thear was only thing that i could do...was ding a ding dang my dang along ling long..

you run and you run to catchup with the sun but it's sinking....racing around to come up behind you agane"thumbsup"

Drail:)

"Im sorry baby, I cant afford to stay, your good kind treatment, will worry me someday, I love you baby"

"sooner or later it comes down to fate, I might as well be the one"

Sage Francis's lyrics are amazing, probably stemming from his poetry slam years.

"Technology made it easy for us to stay in touch while keeping a distance,
'til we just stayed distant and never touched. Now all we do is text too much."

"It's been a long and lonely trip but I'm glad that I took it because it was well worth it.
I got to read a couple books and do some research before I reached my verdict.
Never thought that I was perfect. Always thought that I had a purpose."

"Don't listen when they tell you that these are your best years.
Don't let anybody protect your ears.
It's best that you hear what they don't want you to hear.
It's better to have pressure from peers than not have peers.
Beer won't give you chest hair. Spicy food won't make it curl.
When you think you've got it all figured out and then everything collapses…
Trust me, kid…it's not the end of the world."

I take her to the aquarium, she says, "Shark"
I take her to the planetarium, she says, "Dark"
I take her to the seaside where she likes to spin and twirl
Now she says, "Sure" and "Cool" and "Yeah"
She's my Monosyllabic girl

I take her to the aquarium, she says, "Shark"
I take her to the planetarium, she says, "Dark"
I take her to the seaside where she likes to spin and twirl
Now she says, "Sure" and "Cool" and "Yeah"
She's my Monosyllabic girl

:ror: That ones funny!

I See A Darkness:
well I hope that someday, buddy
we have peace in our lives
together or apart
alone or with our wives
that we can stop our whoring
and pull the smiles inside
and light it up forever
and never go to sleep
my best unbeaten brother
this isn't all I see

Highwayman:
Or I may simply be a single drop of rain,
But I will remain,
And I'll be back again, and again, and again, and again...

Opium Tea:
I'm a prisoner here, I can never go home
There is nothing here to win or lose
There are no choices needed to be made at all
Not even the choice of having to choose

Sunday Morning Coming Down:
Well, I woke up Sunday morning
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad,
So I had one more for dessert.
Then I fumbled in my closet through my clothes
And found my cleanest dirty shirt.
Then I washed my face and combed my hair
And stumbled down the stairs to meet the day.

Sunday Morning Coming Down:
On a Sunday morning sidewalk,
I'm wishing, Lord, that I was stoned.
'Cause there's something in a Sunday
That makes a body feel alone.
And there's nothing short a' dying
That's half as lonesome as the sound
Of the sleeping city sidewalk
And Sunday morning coming down.

You. You got what i need.
And you say he's just a friend.
And you say he's just a friend.
Oh, baby you. you got what i need.
But you say he's just a friend.
But you say he's just a friend.
Oh, baby you. you got what i need.
But you say he's just a friend.
But you say he's just a friend.

and thanks for taking my thread.:flipoff:

"I ****ed your girlfriend last night.
While you snored and drooled, I ****ed your love.
She called me Daddy. And I called her baby when I
Smacked her ass."

Blood stains, speed kills
Fast cars, cheap thrills
Rich girls, fine wine
I've lost my sense, I've lost control, I'm lost my mind

Cause I know we're all headed for that adult crash
The time is so little
the time belongs to us

It's the suede and denim police
coming to take away your uncool neice

One of my favorites:

Someone told me once
that there's a right and wrong,
and that punishment
would come to those
who dare to cross the line.

But it must not be true
for jerk-offs like you.
Maybe it takes longer to catch a total asshole.
but I'm tired of waiting.
Maybe it's just bullshit and I should play GOD,
and shoot you myself.

today was another day full of dread
but I never said I was afraid
dread and fear should not be confused
by dread I'm inspired, by fear I'm amused

Just cause you don't understand what's going on don't mean it don't make no sense
And just cause you don't like it, don't mean it ain't no good
And let me tell you something;

Before you go taking a walk in my world
You better take a look at the real world
Cause this ain't no Mister Roger's Neighborhood

Can you say "feel like shit"?
Yea maybe sometimes I do feel like shit
I ain't happy 'bout it, but I'd rather feel like shit than be full of shit!

And if I offended you, oh I'm sorry...
But maybe you need to be offended
But here's my apology and one more thing...**** you!

This whole damn song is funny!

Here's a little story I gots to tell,
about three bad brothers you know so well.
It started way back in history with Adrock, MCA and me, Mike D.

He told a little story that sounded well rehearsed.
Four days on the run and that he's dying of thirst.
The brew was in my hand, and he was on my tip.
His voice was hoarse, his throat was dry, he asked me for a sip.
He said "Can I get some?"
I said "You can't get none."
I had a chance to run,
but he pulled out his shotgun.
Quick on the draw, I thought I'd be dead.
He put the gun to my head and this is what he said:
"My name is MCA, I got a license to kill.
I think you know what time it is, it's time to get ill.
So what do we have here?
And outlaw and his beer.
I run this land, you understand, I've made myself clear."
We stepped into the wind, he had a gun, I had a grin.
As if this story's over, but it's ready to begin.

"I've got the gun, you've got the brew.
You've got two choices of what you can do.
It's not a tough descision as you can see.
I can blow you away or you can ride with me."
I said, "I'll ride with you if you can get me to the border.
The Sheriff is after me for what I did to his daughter.
I did it like this, I did it like that.
I did it with the whiffle ball bat.
So I'm on the run, the cop's got my gun.
Right about now it's time to have some fun.

"I'm Mike D and I get respect.
Your cash and your jewelery is what I expect."

Mike D grabbed the money, MCA snatched the gold.
I grabbed two girlies and a beer that's cold. "thumbsup"

and I'm not a slave to a god that doesn't exist
and I'm not a slave to a world that doesn't give a shit
