alright guys...i think i found another place to check out in columbia. just the other day becky said "why dont you check the riverwalk entrance off of broad river?" i said yeah that sounds good and forgot about it. i just google mapped it and if you go to the parking lot you can click and drag the "street view" man out in the river and there will be little blue dots that show up which are pictures that people have tagged to that area. i think this would be a GREAT place to check out and if we can get in the river theres plenty of rocks...if not it appears that the banks as well as the back side of the dam is covered in rock. here's what it looks like on google...
now go to google and visit the maps page and enter 34.033323,-81.07039 into the search bar and then when it comes up drag the street view guy out over the water and you'll see the blue dots show up...drop him on them and a picture will show. the one above the word "Greenway" to the right of the dam has a picture of some rip rap and the others show what the river looks like...i guess if the water is down there will be more opportunities.
