I'm mean because you're stupid.
Well the TXT is to the point where I need to mount the steering servos before I go mutch farther. I have searched the threads, seen LOTS of pictures of the great ideas you guys have come up with.

Could someone share the name of a place that would have such a thing as a pre made servo mount? I have tools but not the time.

The top control arms are in an awkward spot. I would almost like to move the upper arms to the top of the axle tubes/boxes, but I would loose triangulation for the axle.:x

They look good but the servo is put in the way of the upper links. The first one is a form of steering my PTI goliath had and it works very weird, one wheel turns farther than the other. I guess I'm going to have to make what I want :-( and thanks for the replies.

I had the MTPA ones, and could not think more highly of them. The servo is put in the way, but with a bend in the upper link, the problem is solved.

So far disapointed in my first TXTproject.

Because you won't cut a piece of aluminum? Or the smaller amount of premade parts? The TXT is awesome, I don't get it.

So far I am having a great tim building our first TXT build. This truck is awesome, a lot better than I thought it would be with the limited mods we did. "thumbsup"

I'm sorry I don't have the tools, tallent, materials, or the time. If it was as simple as "cutting a piece of aluminum" I would try it.
Thats my opinion, sorry if it differs from yours.

I appologize. If I could show you how easy it is...

When I bought my TXT, I had no tools either. So I can relate. I bought a piece of aluminum and this from Lowes:

I practiced on pieces of thin plastic a few tries, then took a good one, and traced it out on the aluminum. I borrowed a drill from a buddy's dad. I drilled the holes first, then cut the aluminum. I figured if I messed up on a hole, I'd save myself a lot of time cutting.

Give it a try man. That's what this hobby is all about - building stuff. "thumbsup"
