Hey all, I have a TRX-4 Sport that came with Canyon tires

I will keep the canyons as my trailing tires, but would like to get a set of more serious crawler tires

I have decided on the Pro-Line Hyrax, but cannot decide on a Predator or G8 compound

Is one better than the other for certain situations?

I run the predator compound on my Capra, Wraith and the Krawler T/A in predator on my Element Enduro. Over the last few weeks the weather where I live has been between 70 and it's 19 today. I've crawled when its around 40 and have noticed that the tires need a little more wheel speed when it's colder to get some extra heat in the tire, but this is all based on my use of the predator. The G8 may be a little less temperature dependant, but I feel like the predator is a good choice.
