I got a single 2.2 tire today and it looks sweet on my CAC EZ Locks. Will def. be ordering 4 more.

BTW, they are a hair shorter than RC4WD Rock Crushers and slightly wider. All references are when mounted to a CAC EZ Lock. I will try to get comparison photos if anyone wants them. The width on these things makes them look much better. My personal opinion of the Rok Lox is that they look pretty good but the narrow-ness looked a little off to me.

The hobby shop I deal with (Great Hobbies here in Canada) finally has these listed, $34.99 a set (CDN of course), so I'll probably be getting some next spring since I'll be working on my rig all winter.

When you say 1/2 inch taller and a bit wider are you referring to the foams that you used or the overall tire size once the foams were installed? If it increased the o.d. of the tire, would you have any pics of those big foams installed in one?

That refers to the size of the foams I switched to.

They filled out the sidewalls a bit more and don't go quite as flat with the weight of the truck sitting on them. They have a slightly rounder profile now, so yea they may be just slightly taller. They haven't changed enough to see a difference in a digital image though. They look a little less "flat" is all...

Thanks Tommy. These are the best wheels I have ever owned. I couldnt find a hub that fit so I modified some axial ones, they look OK better than a axle nut I guess.

Like to know WHY they did not make the SIDEWALLS to match the SCALE ?.
The sidewalls are smaller between the side lugs and the bead. They would be the correct size if the walls were longer, IMO

Wish they were 5.5 or bigger.

Damn, that's being awfully picky if you ask me. No, they're not 100% accurate, but they're plenty close enough to make me happy!

Not me. They're plenty big enough now for a scale rig. :mrgreen:

I've said this like 50 times...but I'll say it again.

Interco's tires are made to perform....I'd imagine that they probably tried "EXACT" minature replicas.....and then modified them slightly so that they would WORK BETTER on RC's.

I've got TSL-SX's on my Samurai..and I've owned MANY sets of Swamper's over the years...and I think these are GREAT.

As a matter of fact...I'm currently running 8 sets of these new Swampers...on scaler's...and they all perform GREAT.


Sometimes....what works in the real world of 1:1's...may not work so well when being "SCALED DOWN".

Just my opinion....but that's what I think.

My hat is off to PROLINE and Interco...for coming together and giving us an AWESOME...very scale looking...great performing....RC TIRE !!

I really love the details of the sidewalls and all of the small writing too.

Wow what a beautiful tire, I knew inside that these werent a comp tire but I still had to find out for myself.....

I was right not for a comp rig, at least not In Farmington, NM on sandstone. But these are definetly an awsome scale tire. If I had a scaler I would be building around these tires.


Just to add fuel to the fire, I measured them mounted off the ground at 5-3/8", 1" rim, uncut stock memory foams.
Rough total weight (tire, rim, lead, hardware)
Front 11.3oz , Back 8.3oz

some image comparisons for those wanting them... 1.9 vs 2.2 Rock Claws vs 2.2 TSL's

The 1,9s are Flat Irons on stock foams. Not sure what foams are in the Claws.. and the TSLs are foamless, with the foam showed being their OME.

on a Honcho.. they are freakin MASSIVE... to big(in a 2.2) IMHO..
