thank you all very much for the comments... and jason man you take some awesome pics!!!

I actually like the 65 turn with the stock gearing because it gives some killer wheelspeed to help it "hop" up and over stuff when needed... my only gripe is that on inclines the rig "rolls" too freely... no gearbox drag whatsoever :( but I hear that some ESC's have a programmable dragbrake... that would solve my problem if they actually work. I'm checking into it :) if need be I'll add a mechanical dragbrake of some sort.

hey this was a cool build so i used it as an avatar at beat your truck. com

hope you dont mind

Very cool! I was never much of a fan of the CC01 chassis, but what you have done with this one makes me re-think things. The Hummer looks great. Super realistic and sharp. I'm more inclined to imagine it tearing across a desert then climbing on the rocks, but it looks at home in either place.

Do those Proline lights have any provisions for making them functional?

thanks guys :) and for more pics including body off pics check out the may issue of rcdriver.

I might have missed it cause I scanned through the replys, but what are your thoughts about the R/C Channel rear axle and front suspension? I have been thinking about the setup for my Pajero and hopefully a couple of future Wranglers, but I was unsure of the durability and performance. They look killer under yours by the way.
