about 6 weeks ago i started on a rock bouncer build. like many others i really liked the screamin II chassis so, i decided to build my 1.9 version of the chassis with alittle different paint and body style. i already lost track but if i had to guess i would say i have about 60 hours in this build as of now.

TIG welded chassis,

all 3/16 .035 wall stainless steel tube

11 1/4 WB

scx10 axles

scx10 trans all billet gears

mip shafts

trinity 15T on 3S

G Made shocks

mayhem 1.9 monsters

1.9 IROKS

JR 8711 steering servo

anyway here's some pics, let me know what you guys think.

here it is now, would be a roller if i had my wheels from mayhem.

i was going to run a 3 link front with a panhard and CMS but my drag link was going to run right through my shock so i fixed that problem. i made a front truss for axle mount servo (which is what i really wanted anyway).

and here's with the tires, 1.9 iroks, set up next to it. the ride height isn't right here it will be lower then this by little.

you should certainly feel good about those welds. there better then 99% of the top builders on here..

great job!

Wow. Those welds are  you have serious Tig skills. I have rarely seen that clean of welding on something as small as 1:10 scale. Welcome to the forum I can't wait to see more of your work. "thumbsup"

thanks for the compliments guys. i most say the actual chassis was the easy part. getting the suspension right and making everything fit in a small space is just crazy. i give props to others putting full interiors in their builds.

Nice job Warren! I want a tig for Christmas! I gotta give you props...I thought a 2.2 was hard to fit stuff into...I can only imagine how tight things are on the 1.9! Question though...why 1.9 in the first place?

a buddy of mine had the axles for a really good deal. so i jumped on it. i wanted to do a 2.2 but decided to go this route instead. if i ever build another one it will most likely be a 2.2.
