project rubicon!!!

project rubicon!!!!

i did have it lowered at first, but i would hit the finder before i hit my max articulation. so i rised it enough to where i can get max atriculation right before i hit the finder. i think it turned out ok. it was probably one of the hardest trucks i have done. only because i had to make a chassis to fit a body. other than that it was a fun project. by the way if you ever get a 1/6 newbright truck.....hold onto the undercarage of the body. if you have a snow plow and the right tires to put on there. it will plow snow pretty good. i put a set of stock tmaxx tires with tire chains on there and it plowed pretty good.

extend your wheel base in the back so the wheel fits under the wheel well, also lower the bady, trim the fenders, then create some fender flares to give it a cool look

the only reason that my axles set a little to the inside is so when my shocks fully compress he tires go directly to the center of the wheel well so i dont rub on anyting. i have 4'' shocks and i put 3'' springs on it. it still has the same articulation but it just sits lower. ill get a pic of it and put it on the link above.
