ProModeler Servo: 420oz, billet case, o-ringed, $79

But there's more because Hitec's literature mentions the titanium gear in their specs. What they don't mention is it's actually an anodized coating (to make the aluminum output gear wear resistant).
Any proof of that? I'm pretty confident Hitec uses solid titanium gears.

Not putting down the PM servo, just haven't found any info to substantiate the Ti coated gears claim.

john seems very straightforward and knowlegable i just bought 5 of the v2 as he says no plans to make more but did say that if the demand was there he would. and these 9 weren't found he had a customer who wanted one so he ran a batch of 10....sooo i say he will prob run more if needed . he is proud of the new v3 though and i get the feeling he doesnt want to go backwards with progress and design just to save $20 but just my thoughts.
can't wait to get them "thumbsup""thumbsup"

I'm willing to purchase one of these v3 servos, but the link on the website shows "page not found"....how do I order?

You can pay with Paypal. Just email what you want and the shipping. He will email you back a invoice to be paid by Paypal. That is how I did my order.

Looks like I might be trying one of these too. I'm a hardcore 7954sh fan but this one seems like a better servo all around. Love that's it's made here in the states and not China.

The 54sh was changes years ago to less quality amplifier that overloads quite easily when stalled. Not a good servo by any means and has been terribly lost in the times.

They make good servo winches when you throw the whole board in the garbage"thumbsup"

That sucks! Wish I had known that before buying my second one. That must be why they're so cheap relative to other 400+ oz/in servos from Hitec. So far so good though. If they last a year the way I run them, I'll be happy. I drive pretty hard.

I just ordered one this morning and it shipped 3 hours later! I have an HS-7950TH and an HS-7955TG that I keep having to swap back and forth while the other is being repaired (4 times in the past 6 months). It's getting rather tiresome and hopefully this servo will just work.

Just wanted to drop a customer service note. Emailed John about doing an order and got a response in about 5 minutes on a Sunday morning. I will buy servos from no where else if the quality equals the customer service

it happened there here i put them away till i need em :-) maybe get a pic tomorrow but just 5 of them in there pretty jewel cases:)

I am liking these servos. May just have to pick one of these up in the future for my SCX.
