I'm pretty sure it said it was a dramatized reenactment at the beginning of the show. Of course, if you couldn't tell by their acting that they were actors...

So...are mermaids real or not? I just spent all of the last two days making myself a merman flipper thingy. My fingers are all calloused and bleeding. I was ready to go in the deep ass part of the ocean to find them.

Maybe their feelings get hurt when you call them "Mermaids". Stop the racism. We should give them citizenship, free assistance, the right to gay marriage and the right to vote so long as they vote Obama 2012.
