They are rated for 30 or 35a, but I have seen deans pushed a lot harder than that in planes. Just pull out a temp gauge and see if they get hot. If your wires are big enough it should sink the heat away.
Not sure about max volts but for Helis we run them on 12s no problem.

Ok I so need to build one of these. My stupid grass grows too fast and my back hurts too much to mow often. I'd prolly have the motor/blade system hang on a gimbal that rides on wheels located right at the edge of the cuttin circle to get rid of the high/Low cut spot issue.

A light weight deck (easiest way to keep the cut grass at bay), more width, and some swing away mulching blades and I think you've got a winner...just when I didn't need any more personal projects
