That's crawling on a riverbed. Lots of rocks. I'll see if I have any pics....

ae5...has a lipo cut off

They do! Just move the jumper over to the lipo side and it will turn on LVC.

Flex ruins rigs IMO. There is just so much extra drop in the suspension that you'll get tires stuck in holes you can't get out of... My SCX10 has been from stock flex to 90* of flex to what I have now, which is just over 1.5". And honestly that's more than I need lol.

Planning on spending a good $400 this week on my SCX10 alone.... Just spent $70 on c hubs, knuckles, and cvd's from Integy (the newer ones, so they are much more reliable 8) ). Heading to the local hobby shop tomorrow to go race onroad at the track. I'm waiting anxiously for my Subaru WRX STI body and Castle MMP with 5700kv motor to arrive at my house for my on road. Up next on my list is a sct and then I'm going to get a pro mod race truck.

So many build ideas, so little time!!!

That's probably your best bet. Upgrade as it breaks and don't do much unless it does break...

Ill get a set of this front and back K44 AXLES


Throw this axles on the d110
Then the stock d110 axles
Will go to the tf2 rtr

Watch yourself bud...k44s need leafs, and I'm not sure a link kit exists yet. These are the axle cases I'm getting for my rig. Scale Dana 60s. Bolt right on, and they're thicker than stock cases.



In other news, I hit 53.7mph with my sprint 2 today, running on a 2s lipo and only rwd. Gunna get a new set of dogbones to make it awd again and then up my motor to a 5700kv and get 3s. Hoping for triple digits.... I can hit at least 65 with 3s, rwd, and the 3500, probably 70 with awd, and I'm hoping that the jump in kV will let me hit triples. Already have a speed body on the way, and I'm just waiting on funds to get the new motor/esc.

And the k44 axles also a drop in on the tf2 leaf spring
We will see though when i have that rtr

The TF2 RTR is still over a month away from being re-released. The kit version however will be released very soon (within the next week).

If i get the kit...

Get the kit. Then run an FXR esc, rc4wd 35t motor, solar servo D772 servo, and a 3s battery.

2 speed is amazing. I'd keep it and fiddle with it before deciding to sell it.....

It's a seperate channel and servo for the shift. Don't touch the red button and you'll be fine. :mrgreen:

Nope... It controls the transmission gear.

If you get a dead servo you can also use that to lock it in 1st gear, without having a need for a 3rd channel...

For another route, would could make a custom legnth link (like the ones you see guys use for links for SCX10s) and attach one end to the shift rod and the other to the servo mount to keep it locked in first gear

It's just a 8/32" allthread rod cut to size with revo rod ends, and 1/4" brake line to cover it all up. Plenty of pictures all over this forum, just type in "SCX10 homemade links" and you'll get plenty of answers.

Should be able to get both the allthread and brake line at Home Depot or AutoZone.

Also, keep in mind that the rod ends also add length, so take them into consideration when you're building links.
