RCC docs - WTF is growing on my hand??

Yep, looks like Poison Ivy or Poison Oak. Sounds like it to if it was on your hands, you "itched" your hands, then touched your forearm etc. It can spread, so be very careful touching the blisters and then other body parts. The poison is spread from the leaf to anything via the oils off the leaf. Your R/C rig could have ran through some and you didn't realize it, and transfered it to you. Watch it are carefully and get some medicines on it quick. It can get very bad.

Seems every one is a doctor so I will though in my guess. It looks like hand, foot and mouth disease.

Either way go see your doctor as anything we say is a guess at best.

Poison shafty.

It is poision ivy/oak. or possibly poision sumac. Either way it can get worse than you would ever imagine. I can look at the stuff and catch it. I once got it and didnt realize, we had accidentally burnt some wood that had the vine growing on it and i got it in my blood steam. i was scratching during the night, when i woke up my face had swollen up until i could not see. I went to the hospital and they gave me a shot, and it was much better the next day.

I have found a couple of ways to fic it on my own now.

my favorite way is to scratch it all up good and then pour some deisel fuel on it then get some soap that is specifically for drying up poison oak and completly wash off with that. By the next day it will completely dried up and not itching.

No joke it works.

Any spots growin on your peker if not then rub the infected hand on it and hold your breath for 93 seconds jump up and down 5 times poke your left index finger up your arse and dont call me in the morning :badger: :flipoff:

The medical advice in this thread is outstanding"thumbsup":flipoff: I am going with the poison oak theory. It's common around here, & I was out crawling twice earlier this week, in 2 different areas.

I didn't feel like going to town yesterday, so I followed Robbob's advice & whipped up a vinegar/baking soda paste. Globbed that on & let it sit, did that a few times yesterday. Also alternated with some calamine lotion. It seemed to help a little. I picked up some tecnu this morning, getting ready to try that out.

Figure it out yet?

Well, I figured out that RCC is a great place for free medical advice:lmao:

It looks like they're drying out on my hand, but now I've got a spot going on my shoulder/collarbone:roll: I'll just keep using the tecnu & calamine lotion & see how it goes. It seems to be helping.

Sounds like poison oak or ivy, watch that pecker .

x2....kinda looks like poison oak or poison ivy. Also kinda looks like what we called nerve bumps back when I was a kid. I still get it sometimes, seems maybe same as eczema?

Herpes can be contracted anywhere on the body....I'd go to the doctor and check it out to be sure what is up....I'm not a doctor.

RCC's free health care system.

I love it.

Oh, and I go with cutting off the hand.

The Canadians must be jealous!

BTW, I say poison ivy/poison Oak. It's getting to be that time of year when it's leafing out.
Since it's a sap that irritates, I wash with COLD water (hot water opens the pores which can make it worse), soap and a plastic fingernail brush.
The brush pops the blisters, the soap dissolves the sap and washes it off.
Bleach, Calamine lotion, rubbing alcohol, etc. do similar.

I was one of those kids that, "If I could see it, I got it." which sucked.
