It is funny the mix of characters on here. Sure, some are a-holes, but isn't that just a slice of real life? Most of the crap posts on here can be attributed to immature kids, so it's easy to just let it go.
It is funny though, how you see people on this board acting like complete a-holes, flaming and bashing and talking smack, but then you see them on another site, scolding people for not acting proper on their snooty, "family" R/C truck board. Basically filling in the definition for the word hypocrite.
WC - when the a-holes on here get on your nerves, #1 - report the post.
#2 - remind yourself that they are rambo behind the keyboard, but are most likely nothing but an introverted wimp in real life, and wouldn't have the nutz to ever talk that big in person. They've also likely not had pu**y since pu**y had them.
It will make there online ways seem much less irritating, and way more comical :lol::lol::lol:8)

I have heard numerous people on this site say we should be attracting the younger generation to RCC if that is so and we are all "good people" here than why are there some that are belittling and scaring away the crowd that we want to come to RCC?
I will agree that there are stupid comments out there that I myself have had to look at it and go "HUH?!?!" but when they are coming from someone who is new or just young and learning... I don't feel that is right.
It is because of this that I have not posted up much of anything outside of chit chat.
As for that comment, I agree with you. I am part of that crowd :lol: but I also know when to say something and when to not.

I have actually been on this site since last November, and even back then, I felt intimidated by the environment here. It made me feel like I was on some adult content website. And because this thread seems like the right place to say this... here it goes. It seems as though a lot of you all are a bunch of dang dick heads who have nothing better to do on the internet than to show off your vocabulary of curse words out loud and to flame anyone who begs to differ from any of you. And as a quikie comparison to show just how badly the mods do at modding, compare this place to RCUniverse... They have well over 300,000 members, but its still a very family oriented site. Personally, I think all of the mods need to have power in all areas of the forum, and I think jason and badger need to hire someone like Wheelchair who is actually going to try to fix the problem rather than go along and not help like a lot of the other mods on here.

The majority of RCC has one basic thought: Anyone that is bright enough to use a computer and the internet knows how to use a search feature, read, and type coherent posts.
Folks don't get spoon-fed information here.
Nobody is trying to keep the kids away, just trying to convince them that they aren't typing on AOL, they're not texting on their cells, they're communicating with the world. The only representation of themselves they can give on the forums is in the quality of their posts.
Belitting kids? No.
Criticism and a good ribbing? Yes...it builds character.
