Work on the bumper continues... Almost ready for paint.

Wow what a great way to make your own tow shackles  Hope you don't mind but I would like to make some of these for my truckI noticed Steele42 used some 1/4" cotter pins for tow shackles (see his excellent thread here), so I thought I would try it out.
I thought I could make it look a little bit less like a cotter pin and more like a tow shackle, so a little work with a dremel tool and a file, and it's starting to take shape. Here's a picture of the work in progress along with an unaltered cotter pin for comparison.

I finished the rear bumper and tow shackles. I just need some different hardware to mount the spare tire. It keeps getting loose.
