OK I tried to stand on the sidelines as long as I could. I make it a point to be strictly an observer in convos like this. But the hipocrasy is overwhelming. I love my country, I was born here I will likely die here. I believe in the rights to say some of the most ignorant things a person or group can conjure up, even if I don't believe in what is being said. Keep it fair. That is what makes this country great. But to let's not act like Muslims have created a new institution called terrorism. I won't even say they cornered the market. It (terrorism) has been going on for eons. Let's not forget that there was this colony one time, and they were foreigners in a new land, see, and they almost died but the naitive people taught them how to live off the land and survive. Anyway, fast forward these colonists decided they didnt just want a piece of the pie, they wanted the whole bakery! So they decided first attempt to enslave the natives and when that didnt work, commit wholesale genocide! In the act of the wholesale genocide was one of the earlier instances of chemical warfare by giving the natives blankets infected with smallpox under the guise of a peace offering. Once the situation with the natives was taken care of, a whole other continent was invaded, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of its population kidnapped and forced into involuntary servitude...in the name of religion. And used propaganda to cover it up by saying the natives were bloodthirsty cannibals and the kidnappees were soulless heathens. Watch any cowboy movie, and/or Birth of a Nation. So in the words of the late, great Curtis Mayfield, "If there's hell below, we're all gonna go!" Every nation on earth has purported some sort of evil to some innocent people, in multiple ways on multiple occasions. Lets dont be so self-righteous.
