Here's my clod with a Coyote Customs painted Rock Pleaser body! and some info...

WillyRocket Custom Chassis
XTM X-Factor shocks
Giant tracs mounted on wide offset narrowed clod wheels
full bearings
custom steering links/mounts
arrow shaft links
RC guy upper links mounts w/ custom brace
JB lockers

Electronics:
Lathe motors
Super Rooster
Hitec 5645MG servos
Trinity Matched 3300 packs
independent 4wheel steering via stick radio

There are still some finishing touches to add like cutting those damn long body posts but it's pretty much done and crawling. This clod is MEAN!!!

Nakey pics soon to come

Thanks CSR!

Bigred, this would be it. Design-wise it's nothing new. It's just a mix of all the goodies and info I picked up on here at RCC ;-)

The chassis is made by Willyrocket though and is VERY NICE!!!

I might get Mr. Dremel to get to know Mr. Lexan a little more.

You said the same to me... lol you sure like chopping up those pleazers? :)

Clod looks good man!!

Lol! Shoot, I thought I already cut a lot out of it when I did this

I guess I could cut the grille out and lower it some more. Then I could cut the sides shorter. Problem is it's already as low as it can possibly mount on the chassis. The chassis has these arched shock towers and the hood is sitting a butt hair away from it. So I'd have to change shocks and cut the towers down to get it lower. Definitely not out of the question though....I'll post some body off shots tonight.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

cut it and let the shock towers poke through the hood  then cut down the door......

Here's some body off shots as promised. I just installed the RC GUY 8t pinions and their adjustable motor mounts.

I added this cross brace to the shock towers since it flexed a little bit. The hood sits right on top of these front shock towers so that's why I can't lower the body anymore

You can see the curve Willyrocket gave to the skidplate. It really helps it to slide over obstacles. I have NEVER gotten hung up on this skidplate

bottom shot of the skid. Texrok helped me to countersink some rivets on the skidplate so there wasn't any screws to get hung up on.

Here's some updates. I added some decals and de-virginized the body with some scratches, lol

Here's a shot showing my recycled BFT tires using Heydco Maxx wheel adapters.

I gained a half inch of clearance with these babies over the Giant Tracs before.

Coyote Customs Special! Thx Texrok!

@ full flex

Here's a shot of the TTR axle braces.. I crawled through some heavy rocks and never put a scratch on em so they shouldn't take up any necessary ground clearance

My new 17cent shock collars! W00t! I found these brass clamps at the hardware store. They're a perfect fit for the aluminum arrow shafts.

beleive it or not i think the bfts work better then anything out their if they are cut up properly... by the way nice rig.... ;-)

wow
i really like the whole way u put ur crawler together
the rockpleazer body
nice chassis
etc

i was wondering if WillyRocket Custom Chassis
would be available for me to purchase aswell
and if yes
then would it come with links
and servo mounts and sterring linkage?

thanks

Cman, good looking rig. I have what I believe to be the same shocks. Mine measure 4.75 inches long. I think they're from an Associated buggy or something like that. Do you have much use on yours yet? Happy with them?

those look like Xfactor shocks to me and they are about 4.5-5 inches long.

It says it right there!!

BTW looking very good, keep up the good work!

Thanks guys!

Bigred: Thanks for the compliment!. The chassis is actually aluminum and has been powdercoated black.

RSI: Thanks! BFT's do work good. These were mounted on my heavy xfactor crawler and now that they're mounted on this lightweight clod they're even better!

iwantoffroad: Thanks! I sent you a pm about the chassis.

fullmodtxt: As WBD and Xtman said the shocks are from an xfactor. They're pretty smooth and are alot better than stock maxx shocks IMO. They've seen some use but I've rebuilt them. The blue springs are the softest springs I believe and work well on this setup. Plus they look cool with the candy blue glitter'y paint scheme. I like em alot! <forest gump voice> Lol. Thanks, I appreciate the props!

Xtman: Thanks for the kind words!
