ROCKEDUP RICKY'S AKRCC Deimos

Been do a little to the rig. I picked up a set of Mayhem ultimate wheels.

I ran mine at a comp this last weekend and I love them. I ran a soft memory foam in the front and a stock rover in the back. Cut a notch in both, that was easy with a worn down wheel that had about a 1/2 of cut left.

In talking with Just Zack, I ran the 1/2 ring in the front with weight on it to get the weight I like, I'm actually running a little more weight than I usally do in the front, I'm running just the ring in the back, Moved my battery off the back axle to my upper links. These thing rock, I got in and out of holes that I shouldn't of any other time. I had a larger foot print on the rocks. They would wade a little just like I like but not to much.

When I tried them on my rock pile at the house ,I did stuff on my practis course that I never could do before and I try some of those lines all the time.
I can't say enough about these wheels, I'm glad I got a set. Best thing to happen to the wheel sence the wheel.

I won a punk dig switch and installed it, redid all my electronics. With the weight from the new wheels in the rear, I moved my battery under my front links.

With the punk dig switch it cleaned up my wiring a lot and I think a little berg stall is gone from the shorter wires from the dig switch to the rear motor.

All in all everything is a little lower now. With the new CG and the killer wheels my rig is feeling really good right now.

Got another win at the NWARC comp. bbyrd gave me a good run, we tied on the total and I got him with the tie breaker.

I really liking these mayhem wheels. I got just the 5/8 ring on front,no weight and it at about 15oz a wheel, tire and foam. I put the 5/8 ring in the back ,but didn't like that much weight, but liked the 5/8 ring better than the 1/2 ring. So I drilled out the 5/8 ring and it's the same weight as the 1/2 now. It seems to be working for me. I'm running a soft memory in the front and a fairly soft non memory in the rear. This is feeling really good to me right now.

I got me a Losi comp body and mounted it up. It weights .75oz less than my old body after I painted it. That should help my CG a little too.
I'll post some pics of it later.
