Roll Call!!!

I go back and forth from Hampshire/Mt. Pleasant/Columbia Tenessee to Norfolk/Hampton/Newport News Virginia my brother races tmaxx/stadium nitro and other brother has HPI Wheely King.

Is there anywhere good to crawl around Columbia? I go there to fly my helis and planes sometimes.

Thre are two good places. One is on the side of the road on the way to the RC plane runway and the other sits bellow the retaining wall in front of Lowe's.

Ah, you mean at the quarry there? I never really paid much attention to rocks on the side of the road before last weekend when I got my creeper.:) So far it has only been climbing over the kids toys and some concrete blocks out back.

That is hat I am talking about.Just do not go off the side. They will get pissed about that stay up top.We held a comp there a few weeks back.
I will say this the traction is unreal and will for sure point out any week links."thumbsup"

Another one from Knoxville!! I'm new to the site (and RC Crawlin for that matter).

Welcome. You can visit our clubs forum here ETRC. Pretty slow over there but you can keep up with our events and get to know some of the local guys. We usually have a comp once a month, sign ups are posted there and in the competition section here on RCC. Hope you can make an event sometime.

For now......

I've had enough of the rain. If it keeps up,I'm just gonna convert my crawlers into mud racers.:lol:

Y'all should try and come up to my place on the 30th of this month. We're holding a comp then."thumbsup"

New guy from Sevierville

Hello everyone, this will serve as my introduction post for now. I've been looking over the site for a couple of days and decided that I like what I see. The knowledge here seems to be the best of any crawler sites.

Anyway, on to a little bit about me. I bought my first crawler, a Axial RTC on the 13th of this month, So as you can tell I havent had it long. Luckly for me I live about 10 from the lake (great crawler spots) and Dollywood in a town called Sevierville (hence the handle). Ive torn the RTC down a couple of times, especially after I got it all muddy in what seemed to be solid ground. I guess after all this rain, everythings squishy. Yesterday I bought a procomp tuber chassis with the panels. This went together like a breeze, although cutting the body was a challange for my patience.

Well, thats about all I have to say for now, Ill probably be at hobbytowns next store crawl, which is this saturday (tomorrow), or if anyone wants to get together locally, I'm always up for some more wheel time.

Chris

Whats up guys, I'm from Knoxville. We have an all around RC(radio controlled, not rock crawling) forum at WestKnoxRC.com, if you haven't been there check it out. Also, any of you guys ever crawl the waterfall at Dowell Springs in K-town?
Video is of a 2wd but you I'm sure you can imagine... http://vimeo.com/5401052

ETRC has had a couple of comps there. I believe we are having one there in a couple of weeks, or sometime in July.
