Rowdys there's no "I" in team Bully 2

WOW- That's is just about how high mine is. Yours looks much nicer. When will they be on sale? Do you do black?-- haha

I never made more than 2 because there didnt seem to be a demand for them. I suppose I could do a small run and see how it goes, give me a couple weeks I am getting ready for nats next week currently. As for colors, I only do raw, feel free to paint them. "thumbsup"

Going back to the sidewinder soldering, it helps to wick a bit of regular solder onto it as you try to heat it. It gives a much larger patch of heat transfer and contaminates the tin with some lead. Once the surface breaks the rest follows fast.

Lead free silver free solder sucks!

I used to use leaded on personal and special projects because of the ease, i solder a lot. But about a year ago I accidentally looked at my hands through a jewelers loop when trying to troubleshoot a pcb. Even after washing my hands twice with pumice they were covered in micro solder splatters, stuff embedded within the ridges. No more lead here, I couldn't come home and touch the baby or eat without thinking about it.

Don't look at your hands after one deans plug. The rosin boiling off sends filler particles about 6" out. I estimated a few thousand little balls were on me from each joint soldered. That's a lot more balls on me than I'm comfortable with, the two attached are enough for today.

Baws.

Big thanks to Dlux for offering links for the YTC double agent now. "thumbsup"

I have been wanting to try some new rear lowers for quite some time but never got around to it. These are modified links from my old BJV4, not ideal for the rear motor position on the B2 axles. Eye to eye is 5.25", lets see what Dlux can do!

Nice build thread Chris, I got my b2 axles mounted up. Yes I've joined the Revolution :ror:

I like how the steering is so far. I still need to rework the electronics as I will be putting the battery behind the front motor.

Do you have a pic of your steering set up? There were a lot of pics I couldn't see in this thread. Any set up tips you recommend would greatly be appreciated.

I will get a pic of the steering for you tonight.

I suggest you replace ALL of the bearings with something quality (Boca or Avid) and the axles should work well for you. "thumbsup"
