Say it ain't so! Stu builds a straight Honcho

Learned the hard way that body clips fit nicely into a lipo balance plug  The lipo survived but I can't balance it anymore.

Tamiya Wrangler headlights fit the openings with only a little trimming. See photo #2
Gonna call it done now:

New IROKs, the new compound works even on lightweight rigs.

Vented the wheels, changed the front foams to the Pro-Line memory foams that came in the kit, jacked the preloads around, and it's good. Expect to see a lot more of this one :D

I'm afraid to ask why it could have seemed like a good idea to try that...

I didn't try it on purpose :ror: I pulled the battery out and the balance plug got caught on the body clip. As soon as I saw the smoke I yanked it out of there, but the plug was welded to the clip by then.

The Weightless Wonder did real good at today's GTG (wait for n00b's video) until a CVD pin dropped and put it in 3WD. Even then it was possible (but not pretty) to get around as long as I kept the speed up.

Sweet vid, did you let the others know beforehand that you were going to have a yard sale with the zuk? lol

Also, did you plug your wheels back up before taking the Comanche swimming or did you just leave the water in the wheels since you said they were vented. That's why I hate having my wheels vented now, having the water in there fawking up the foams after a couple weeks.

Funny about the water, none got in the wheels. Or at least not enough to come back out with my post-run tire squeeze. My heavy rigs always fill up with water, so it could have something to do with the lack of foam deflection; if the foams don't compress the air can't get squeezed out? Maybe? I did get a (very) little in the electronics box, just enough to fog it up, so a re-seal is in order.
