Depends on what Im driving... Jeep? Not far, 12mpg....... Mazda? pretty far, 35mpg. But it is currently awaiting a crank as I spun a number 2 rod bearing....
My crawler is coming along but I think it will be a little while before I get it done because I have decided to put some rc4wd mini44s in it. So I have to wait till I get some stuff sold on eBay.

Here are some locations for you to google. These are places where we take the Scalers to and are pretty decent places. I'll leave out the SC locations because I don't think any of you who have posted up wouldn't be willing to drive that far. Bullhole, Coolemee NC. Grier Rd Charlotte NC. Lake Rhodhiss, Hickory NC.
A little description for each.
The Bullhole is the best scale location in my opinion ( maybe because its about 30 mins from my house also8)) It has a creek that you could run in it alone for hours, it has several nice hill climbs, a sandy beach, and plenty enough rock to keep you happy with a scaler.
Grier Rd is a decent spot to comp at, and it is alright for scalers. I would say it is best for and event where gates/trail markers would be set up, but not as good for like a fun run.
Rhodhiss dam in Hickory has all the rock you could ask for. It has a stream/creek that run down the rock and if you are waterproofed it is a blast. The water holes it creates are kinda deep. It has one or two hill climbs.
Feel free to add any scale locations to this list. I'm just tring to give the scale guys and idea of good scale locations close to me.

the Haw river near pittsboro,nc is wow a great location.i have been to alot of them,bullhole,the damn(statesville),etc and the haw IMOP is the best.
