badger said:I was thinking something on the lines of a 4WD with a wide trackwidth for stability and a brushless setup for power, a low ride height with some good travel. I wonder if they make 1/8 scale buggies electric?

the emphasis was on scale looks rather than all-out performance, but with 7 cells and a 19t it moves out allright.

If clod axles can handle the abuse we dish out crawling I cannot see them falling apart.braceysdad said:Does anyone know if a clod axle with alum gears would hold up to brushless? What motors do the clod racers run? After sleeping last night I think I might go with a 2wd truck using a clod axle on the rear with independent front. That's only if the clod axle would hold up to brushless. I could stay with 2.2 tires for a more scale look. If I two link the rear for extreme up/down travel I wonder if it would work?? Thoughts, comments, suggestions, and stone throwing welcomed.
