The Chevy is getting transformed. Here is a before picture. I got voted in as an alternate and was able to run it in Warpig's first TTC because of a couple no-shows.

This will be my new Trail rig, It needs to be ready by the 13th for the OR v Wa scale event.
I have a bit more work to do but am getting a little done each day.
Got the rest of the beadlock rings finished so it is rolling on all four now.

So far I have stretched it to 13.25" and think I may push the front axle forward about another .25"
Installed a Hand Bros. axle bracket on the rear axle and made a cutom panhard bracket to make it a 3-link like the front.
Built a new custom front bumper and have it installed.

Next will be finishing my T-case and getting it installed. It will be identical to the one I built for the Warpig EB. Once that is in I will finish the motor mount crossmember.
I will get more detailed pics of all the custom pieces later.
My pimpin wheels.

What else is coming?
Longer shocks set up for some droop. Stainless tubing to sleeve the threaded rod rear links.
The body will have the back 1" of the attached to the front section. I removed about 3" from behind the doors. It will have a styrene bed and some custom rollcage work.

I will also do boatside brackets like my Nissan that will support the body. Like this.

Wow, look at that tasty motor! This thing is going to move out!

Sorry about the confusion, that motor was in the Nissan, it cogged way too much and didn't spend any time trying to make it work. I just used the pics for an example of the boatside brackets.

Got the boatside/body mounts done and installed. The body is held on firmly by only 2 screws. Also provides channels for keeping the wires in place and out of the drivelines. The body floorpan will eventually bolt to the tops of the brackets.

Bottom view. I need to trim boatside panels to match the body in the front and for tire clearance. Need to pick up some flathead screws and countersink the holes in the plates so nothing can hang it up.
