The threaded tube? Then what's the brake line for?

Cut the tube a quarter inch short, then tread about an inch of the allthread into each end. You then Add the rod ends to them. Custom baby

damn it driver! your products are awesome but i already bought a gearhead 4-link mount for the rear, i need a cms though "thumbsup" and the links is a set of 4 lowers for $32 and the uppers are $14 extra correct..?

PM sent"thumbsup"

since you put "what's cheaper?" in the thread title, i'm going to agree with this:
8/32" threaded rod, 1/4" brake line, and revo rod ends. You can costum make the linkage.
and you'll have parts left over to make changes down the road if you get a different body, vs spending double to get another set of pre-fabbed links.

sure the pre-fabbed ones are "nicer" and you can get aluminum if you want, but you asked for "cheaper".

searchy search search for lengths since this question has already been asked about 1.3 million times on this forum "thumbsup"

^^true true I'm jumping in to check for answers in the thread at work I don't have time to sit and search and the searchy search button sucks it gives me everyone and their mothers post that had anything I entered in the search and when I get too specific I get nothing LoL its a vicious cycle I don't have time for "thumbsup" hence the thread sorry for the redundancy guys

This^

On a side note, I want to say, I bought some 6mm brake line from the parts store, some 6/32" all-thread, and T-Maxx ends. Works well for places where you need a little extra room/less bulk. Downside is you have to drill the tubing out to slide the 6/32 all-thread through.

Can't you just thread it into the tubin?

If you can thread rod ( its not hard at all), the cheapest is to make your links like R2J's.

6' of 3/16" 304 ss rod is 10$, a 10-24 die is under $12 and about 2hrs of your time.

My hobby shop had 1 foot lengths of 3/16" threaded rod for $2 each, I bought 4.
Hobby shop has bags of Revo rod ends with steel balls, bag of i think 16 for $9
Canadian Tire had 5 foot lengths of 5/16" brakeline for $5.29

A dremel tool with cutoff disc and grinding tool (or just a file) is all thats needed. Take off your old links and cut your brakeline to the same size (or longer if extending). Slide your threaded rod into the brakeline (no drilling or threading needed here), cut your threaded rod so it sticks out of each end of the brakeline long enough to thread into your rod ends.

Very easy, took me under an hour and I made 4-link uppers and lowers for the front and rear, and I have 1 foot of threaded rod and almost 2 feet of brakeline leftover.

Total cost: $22.29 plus tax for 8 custom links with all new rod ends and steel pivots. And spare material!

That's probably my best bet bro how so you coat brakeline?

Your HTC-Freeze Ray Gun seems to be failing you in the Auto-Correct Dept.

Do you mean cut? Dremel, hacksaw, etc.

Do you mean coat? Most brake line will have a anti-rust coating already on it. If you feel the need to custom paint them, feel free, its just a personal choice.

Yeaa the warranty just ended last months happens all to everyone shoulda gotten the extended warranty on this piece LoL and I mean coat, the brake line is a weird trashcan silver I wouldn't mind em black but I guess I can just mar the surface and spray em flat black and for cutting I have a brakeline cutter "thumbsup"
