Sept 9th, 2012
Beavertail Lighthouse
Jamestown, RI

Location: Jamestown, RI
Driver Reg & Tech: 8:30-9:15
Drivers Meeting: 9:30
Course 1: 10:00

There will be 3 Courses for the Pro class.
This is a normal series scored event for ECRC's season with finishing order points going towards NETC for all Pro drivers.

There will be 2 Courses for the Sportsman class.
This is normal for all ECRC series events.

We understand the distance but ask all drivers to please plan ahead for the drives.
We would like to keep things rolling on the set schedule for start times.
Doing this will allow all classes and drivers to get their shot at running.

**This is NOT a pro only comp - we will run our normal Sportsman series courses also**

And on the beach with fresh sea air ........ bring your sunscreen!

3rd Leg of the New England Triple Crown of Rock Crawling

Beavertail Road, Beavertail State Park, Jamestown, RI 02835

Cant wait to see everyone there.
Only 1 point seperates 1st and 2nd for the NETC.
From the pictures it looks a lot like Lighthouse Point in New Haven and we all know what carnage that can cause.

Lol good for you Dan. Have fun out there and good luck to both of you.

Hopefully you can make the last one at rock island for the series. I get to set pro courses lmao.

I'll be there for sure, can't miss this one! Best crawling at this place is either the west side near lot 1, or just east of the lighthouse where the cars are parked on the road itself.
There is some wild terrain out there, lots of brittle layered rock with quartz layers and bubbly looking lava rock, everything from super slick to super grip! There is also some great bridge type formations on the west side if you have time to explore a bit, definitely a beautiful spot. See you guys there!"thumbsup"

Will be there as well, and hope the weather is good. The views of the bay and ocean are worth the ride alone.

Plus, considering the numbers going into round three it will be great fun to watch. "thumbsup"

I can't wait for these courses. It's either gonna be a bag of parts getting a ride home or a win lmao.

Tearing my rig apart this week for some new things. It's gonna be interesting considering my roof is barely attached after my practice lately lol.

its been over two months since i made a comp so i plan on making the drive down. looking forward to seeing how i handle my new radio/esc setup.

Damn - too much going on. Sold the RV last week and the people are coming Sunday to do a shake down and take her home. Need it out of the driveway. Will be down there on Saturday, but that's no help.

Gonna drop off my like new 35T HH Torquemasters at Bob's for his runs on Sunday. :flipoff:

I would love to but the 16th we are doing a reschedule of a scale/wraith comp. Weekend after is our Rock Island 2.2

weather says 20% chance .......

My guts telling me go with it ...... we have easy ups ( I have 2)

Whos is gonna be screwed if we did go tomorrow? I dont want to kill peoples plans or screw it up for guys planning on Sunday.

either works for me but i would need to know pretty soon if it was moved to tomorrow. making plans with the wife.

Im gonna say lets stick with Sunday. Ive got 3 easy ups with me and cant find a weather spot that shows confirmed high chance of rain all day.

If anything changes though itll be by posted Saturday night/Sunday early morning and new date picked.

Fingers/Toes/Nuts crossed but I think we're good.
