Sink hole in National Corvette Museum swallows 8 vettes

they updated there facebook and said that all the cars have been removed today from the hole.
also mentioned the 1 of a kind 1983 corvette was relocated from near the hole. for those that do not know no corvettes were made that year. the other 42 prototypes were destroyed, this one was hidden and saved.

My dads last big trip before his passing was to see that place and glad he had the chance to..

He said it was unbelievable....

Well I total of 3 sink holes were found yesterday. The worst at the museum. One 2 ft off a high traffic 2 lane road and another in a soccer complex behind the apartment I live in. Bowling Green sits on top of all kinds of small caves and under ground springs. Bound to happen just hopefully this is the worst of it....

I'm more shocked (pun) that there's a coil over on the rear suspension. Thought all the Vettes use the leaf. Perhaps I have learned something today.

This 1984 PPG Corvette was a collaboration between Chevy and PPG that served as a pace car for the Indy Car World Series.

I think the Vette's still use a transverse leaf in at least the rear if not both ends, that PPG car must be something mainly Vette looking or based.

:sad: That's some horrible luck right there. I'm glad I live on solid granite.
