Sneak Peek Losi 2.2 Rock Claws

Thanks guys for the feedback, I"m really looking forward to seeing how these work in all the different areas with different setups.

Someone asked about a 40 series size...sorry but no plans right now.

Thanks again,
Rich

Make it 5.5in tall and you will have the fast selling 2.2 Comp Tires out... But keep the same width..;)

Tires look awesome! I think it's great you guys are hangin on forums like this to get ideas and feedback to kick out crawler specific parts. I do have one question though. Is there anything R&D wise being done as far as foams go? Pre star cut option would be a sweet option. I'm sure cost effectivness of tooling to cut them would be in question though...

The testing I saw SICJ do at Donner Summit was with Losi firm race foams uncut. They worked great. They are smaller in diameter than stock foams and allow for a small amount of tire compression before contacting the foam.

The combination worked very well and with no time spent cutting foams.

Just saw these in action on Bender's rig at Red Rocks, they worked great! I think I am going to have to get a set...

These things did freakin awesome today on Brad's rig!
They out shined the moabs and mashers on everything, side hilling, steep climbs, and everything in between. I will definitely be getting a set!"thumbsup""thumbsup"

These tires are definitely going to be a big hit. I expected them to work good out at Red Rocks, but they surpassed all my expectations. I was able to pull off lines out there today that I've personally never made before, with ease. I wasn't running any weight in the wheels or on the front axle either.

I've got a few pics and video, I'll try and get them posted soon. ;-)

They look like an awesome tire, just wish they were a tad taller. I'm running a little longer wheelbase and anything shorter then a masher or lizzard would hurt too much.

With full foams they are just as tall as Moabs if not taller. The performance alone will make you forget about any height questions you have. ;-)

A few pics from this morning.

I was running red in front and pink out back. I think I may try the stock foams in the rear and leaving the reds in front. I'm not sure if I'll add any weight yet or not. We'll see after more testing.
