Sneed's Sloppy Seconds

These cut boss claws pull very hard. I'm liking them better than my worn in set. For foams I'm running the stock pink in the fronts. I did cut channels in the foams to soften a bit. The rears are standard rock claw grey foams. Fronts 14oz total and rears 7oz

But yes, I'd have a pair cut and another pair standard. Just wear them in good. I hear most people get rid of them before there broke in and are missing out.

Well this all I have this morning. Not much time to take pics

LCC-1.jpg

This is from this past weekends comp. Atlanta's Krawlin 4 Kids.

I swapped in a Novak 13.5t Ballistic Spec. Yeah....that didn't go well. Tons of wheel speed, no torque! I'm not happy with it for comping. If I was rock racing, then yeah it would be awesome. I think I burnt it up trying to push it to hard. All in all, good times.

Also got that S9156 warranty. Replaced it will a S9157. "thumbsup" And to add to the list of things changed. Went to 55 pistons and 37.5wt oil. I'm liking this alot! Very stable!

Good to see you this weekend, Are you data logging all your changed so you can refer back to them later if you want to change back ? I dont do it because i never seem to have the same set up for to long for it to matter, But in theory its a good idea.

Do you still have a mini ?

I keep everything logged as, better or worse. In this case it fell into the "better" file. "thumbsup"

Mini has been gone for a while now.

I thnk I found you another set of cheap boss claws. WB was trying to give some away the other day. I'll see exactly what he wants for them. Up north we have better luck with moabs :(

Truck is looking sweeeeeeet with that lid!

Any chance you could get a rock temp once you go out next? Just courious of what that's like in your area.

Thanks

Yeah let me know on those Boss Claws. Can never have too many sets, 3 and counting. Ha.

The temp outside that day was probably around 40-ish. Maybe a little lower? The rocks were wet! Drizzled on and off. Traction at that spot is insane! It's poured concert over stacks of rocks. Man made dam.

Yeah. Rockthrasher did a great job on the lid. Can't thank him enough

We used to have a club comp spot with concrete covered rock and it was unreal what you could get your rig to do with any tire. Only downside was you almost needed a new set of tires after the comp from abrasion, was almost to much traction. Made everyone look like a pro lol.

Did a little fabbing/wrenching. Made a Rcbro knock off LCG dig mount. This is made for the use of a micro servo, using a HS-85mg for now. Also made a electronics mount for the rear axle and a battery mount for the front. Instead of making a new servo/battery mount, I took the easy way and made one to attach to the OE mount. Axle plates are 1/8 delrin and servo mount is 3/16

My apologies, were the vids made with the redine motor in there? pretty slick. I run goat in my LCC and love it, but you sir have a very capable crawler there, great job.
