I have heard about the H3's being actually capable of wheeling over something. My Girlfriends dad has a H2 Truck, it's nice on the the streets. I would never wheel it just cause of how much the damn thing cost.

wheel it. that is what tey are made for. the dealership around here told me they will warranty anything I break offroading as long as I bring them in pictures!

I have spent time in Hummers and Jeeps off and on road. The H2 or H3 are far less capable offroad than a Jeep Rubicon. By the way that little three foot ledge that got you on three wheels is nothing!

for the record,

i did not start this thread for a flame session to me or other owners / idiots....if you want to flame pls do it in pm's :) yeah it isnt serious crawling but unlike some of you guys we live in an ashpault play ground and its hard to find a "real" trail that isnt illeagal....and second i need to find the pics of us when we went thru this serious trail where the hummer really shined....half the door was in mud and she pulled out...we never got stuck and NOTHING BROKE<----- THIS WAS A RENT A CAR we were semi gentle to it......

... and i would love to see your 1:1's and not google images...and see you crawling, trail riding.... and if you have nice rigs / capable rigs i will give you props, thats the way i am. and if you dont i just might pm you a piece of my mind.

have a nice day :)

You know you never REALLY been wheeling when the dealership is going to fix what you broke! OR when you put tape and magnets on the side of you rig so it doesnt get scratched LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm I was expecting a piture of a stock jeep.

That is a pretty well built up trail rig- however; the original post was about a STOCK HUMMER not being capable. I can go on and on about how much faster a F1 race car is than a new mustang cobra and that doesnt make either not a fast car, one is purpose built (and yes, I know hilbillys drive thier trail rigs on the street) and one is bone stock.

So next time; find a thread that is actually about purpose built wheelers- post your flames in there

As for the tape on the fenders and magnets on the doors- i do like to keep my stuff looking nice; and still have fun with it.

Apples to apples my friend.

its a nice truck....but like matt said these are stock trucks no mods...we did not even touch the tire pressure....and if he wants to protect the paint thats his deal....im sure you werent too happy after doing all that work on your truck when you got the first deep scratch, even if you werent i would be...but what ever

like i said its not everyday when we get in our 94 jeep with 129,XXX miles and a 100 inch hydrolicnumatic lift with super king doggy dog tires runing 44 inch rims with tripple stage bead locks and a stock motor.... boohoo

gg next map "thumbsup"

Thanks for the link mrpink"thumbsup" I been looking for that stuff for a while now.
I thought we are talking stock as well, and I like the Rubys. They are a dam good wheeler right out of the box, but the H2 & more so the H3 wheel hard as well. They can fit on all those trails that tend to rip the body of the H1 (a very good rig as well).
My stock '95 'Burb is not to shabby either, but it can't hold a candle to my last 'Burb, 84 3/4T 6" lift, 35's, spool in the front and limited in the rear. Oh yeah, apples to oranges again:flipoff:

it makes me laugh when ppl says hummers cant wheel- they are the most capable out of the box off road vehicle. and yes- even more than the rubicon.

Now thats just funny. I don't care who you are.

H3 Hummer= No Ture Lockers, No 4:1 transfer, Poor choice of factory tires, to much over hang and poor Center ground clearnace, oh and no Solid front axle. I'm not sure if even the rear is a solid axle or not. Now how in the bloody hell is that better then a New Rubi.......?

If I wanted a Hummer. I'd ask your Sister.....Hummers Suck

OKAY THATS FUNNY LOL "thumbsup"

but yes the new rubicon with the detachable sway bar is sweet "thumbsup"

the h3 has a solid rear with a optional air locker doodad....idk
and the h2 is solid read and front with front rear and center lockers like the mercedes G500..wht ever

i thought this was over.....but what ev

I could never understand the H2 or H3 thing. If I'm not mistaken the H3 is just a reheated Chevy Colorado. I've been for ride in a rubicon, I'll say if your stock H3 can top that ride you drive your new car too hard.

where is that at? and my dad has a h2 and loves it and is one a hummer fourm where I guy wheels a h2 that never been on the pavment insemt driving it home from the dealer and tows it with a h1.

i think the only off road worthyhummer is the H1 Alpha compared to the rest of the hummers , but for the $150,000 price tag you don't even get solid axles.

My wife wants to get an H3 for "her" next vehicle.

The deal is that she can get the Hummer, if when it's time for me to get a new vehicle (I just bought a 06 Chevy Crew so it will be a few years until I get another vehicle) I can get a 4 door Rubi w/ a lift, tires, and wheels!

Come on 08!
