I think Macallan 18 is pretty good. Used to drink johnny black but I'm liking Macallan better

Stupid Makers, paired with an iPhone, and tapatalk makes for a double post. Sorry bros...

right now i am drinking angels envy, i recently went on a spree of buying small batch bourbons, and this was one of my favorites. also liked noahs mill quite a bit. knob creek also has a 9 year single malt that is pretty killer.

I have always been a jack daniels drinker, tried there honey and did not like it....tried wild turkey honey and now I have two favorites now....

Jameson special reserve is nice.

september 2005, ah, honeymoon at quiet resort in Fiji with wife deathly sick in bed for the week, me on the verandah / balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean, quietly going through a bottle of....

If you're going to spend good money on whiskey, look for a single-malt or single-barrel whiskey. Blended whiskey ain't whiskey.
Don't bother. Johnnie is all blended, with lots of marketing.

always wanted to try Johnnie Walker BLUE, it being the most expensive in the range....found a bar here in rural Oz that had it, $36 a shot:shock:....barman told me not to bother, it's blended, said go the Gold I think it was, much nicer and cheaper...was very nice for a blend.

Guy here at work makes his own spirits, sells to a select few of us, $15 a bottle, not bad for a home brew, teensy-weeny bit watery, still good for a every night, big four fingers off to sleep drink once kids are in bed"thumbsup"

tedo, you gotta drink it BEFORE the bash session! Then also after.

I used to work in a 4 star restaurant in PDX so I had to learn about wine & scotch. Tasted 15 single barrel scotches in 1 day (too much!!!!!) & the only one that didn't make my olaphacterires go into hyper-overdrive was the Macallan 12 yr.
I had only 1 opportunity to try the 25 yr we had on the top shelf. We had a horrible day of chaos that the GM of the place had to jump in & get down with us servers to keep the wheels from flying off. At the end of the shift I got a pat on the back from the GM & he said "can I buy you a drink?"
I said sure, I'll take a shot of that Macallan 25.
He smiled wide & gave it up.
Damn good!

Any of you aficionado types use these?
