Stacy David's copperhead on E-bay

damn near, started with a cab from a junk yard. Built it up from that. If I had the coin I would have paid that for the truck.

Was watching GEARZ on speed sunday morning and he was building another truck on the cheap and he was calling it Knuckle Buster. Its a sharp looking truck.

If you ever saw that truck in person you would have seen why it went so high. It was amazing. He also had good reasons for leaving Trucks. Also if you ever met him and got the chance to talk to him you would find out he is a hell of a nice guy. Just don't let him drive your junk. he only knows one speed.

the bit about the marker lights I didn't know. I wish I had more pictures of my old 67, it wasn't near as nice, it was a long bed stepside, with a 4 speed manual and a 327 out of a 65 corvette. it was quick, and a blast to drive. wish I never sold it
I you what you mean,I sold my Blazer a few years ago, regret the hell out of it.I always wanted to build a 72 truck with a 67 front, dropped with a big block or get another Blazer or a Suburban or a ....
67-68 had the marker differences,69-70,there was a slight variance in the grill insert and the only way to tell a 71-72 apart is that the 72 rear view mirror was attatched to the windshield, the 71 was mounted to the overhead.

35k at most? Dude, if you had a shop build this truck for you, the bill would be well over six figures. What you see on TV probably does not even begin to do this truck justice. The paint job alone would be over $10,000.

EVERYTHING on that truck is custom. I can guarantee you, NOTHING was left un-touched on that truck.

Even if you built the thing yourself you'd still have more than the $67,000 price tag in it.
!

I saw the build pics. It's not all that. I have built a car or 2 in my
life, and $60k+ for that truck is overpriced in my book.

Just saw this thread.... I got rid of a 68 this year. The 68's were the first year for the front markers per federal reg's. And someone said the front ends are the same on 67-68's....nope! The hoods are completely different, about 1" 1/2 different in the front. The grills were different also. It sold for way more than it should have though. I could see it selling for that kind of $ at Barrett-Jackson, but not the bay:shock: Just my 2 cents:ror:

 tell me what the difference is?? 69-72 had the more vertical nose on the hood, 67 and 68 were the same, Also what is different about the grill? oh, i restored a 68 also

I totaled a 68 and a 72. My first ride was a 72 with slight quarter panel rust. So i can for sure say I have a bigger epeen. I was jumping rail road tracks when a truck pulled out and i slammed into him. Was awesome.
