so i see it all the time
full scale trucks running these tires
"super swampers"
why do you not see them on any rc crawlers?
is it compound of the tire??
cause the tread pattern is the same on 2.2 as seen on full scale
whats is the down side to them from the "moabs" and "mashers"
the tread patter is one of the most aggressive ive seen
bisides the custom tread patterns people do them selves
WHY ARE THEY NOT USED AS OFTEN OR AT ALL????

do you like them?
are you running 2.2?
whould there be a big diff
from the 2.2 to the maxx size tires?
is the compound to hard
cause i think the moabs what i run now are to soft

I assume you are talking about the Super Swamper TSL, Interco makes many Super Swamper tires. Nobody makes a Super Swamper TSL or TSL SX tire for 1/10 scale rc's.

Some people cut up the Imex G-hawgs (2.2) or J-Hawgs (Maxx) to look like TSL's. Here are mine.

I have not used them yet but the rubber compound is not as sticky as Proline tires. They should be good for all around use and cool looks though.

Imex makes a Super Swamper Bogger.

Proline's Moab tire looks like a Super Swamper Irok in my opinion and works like one too.

Proline Moab and Masher tires are made from a much stickier rubber compound so they are better on the rocks than the Imex tires. That's the reason you see so many of them. The Imex tires work ok though.

i dig that cutting to a TSL, but its a d@m shame to have g-hawg on the sidewall of your swampers
Actually that tire represents a Ground Hawg more than a swamper with the directional tread, trust me I own a Pro-Mod Mud Dragster(retired from it now)and I know the tires well. You should see tha hacking/trimming/shaving what ever you want to call it done to some of my 1:1 tires although the guy's here have definitaly have done VERY simular if not the same stuff to the R/C tires.

yea the swamper boggers thats what i see on all the 1:1 trucs ...
so its just the compound of the tire why there not ran as much on rc thanks guys

Real tires are done with an Iron (burning), a lot cleaner cut

thanks bud, but i'm asking about the scale tires... i just picked up a set of g-hawgs and want to cut them up - i tried a bit with the xacto, but it was rough...
