Supercross 2012!

Hells yeah! Villopoto on top! I do have to say I'm impressed with Dungey's ride. KTM's are almost unbeatable in the woods, but usually get killed on a track.

Did anyone else laugh at the irony of Stewart crashing into the San Manuel Tuff block?

Villopoto isnt here to play around, lead from start to finish.

Chad Reed in second.

Its tough being a bubba fan

He did win the speed poll that asked viewers who they thought would be the 2012 SX champ, guess Im not the only fan.. Just maybe the only one on RCC :ror:

I'll give credit where credit is due. Stewart is a good rider and a fast rider. He's just too inconsistent in the race. You can't win if you can't stay on the bike.

Man what a horrible track! You know you have a problem when 3 out of the 5 top guys say that the track is "not what they were expecting". It just lead to bad racing being 1 line through 1/2 the track.

RV was in it to win, he got out early and put the work in to get the distance from the rest of the pack.

I feel like Stewart was having either a bike problem or arm pump and decided to ride smart (for a change) and just hold on to 4th. All that changed when Reed went down and it was an all out battle for 2-4, we all know what happened after that. Dumb mistake that he makes way too often! Just ride the middle of the track!

Well a lame start to the 2012 season in my opinion. I'm hoping the tracks will be better for the rest of the season. This one line BS makes for easy dominant victories, if one of the fast guys gets out of the gate first and the others are stuck in the pack then they will just walk away and no one will have a chance of catching them.

Looking forward to next weekend.

Not the best race ever, but I've never seen a "bad" race in Supercross. There's always something worth seeing. As far as the track: I don't recall if it was Little Ricky, or Emig, that said about the track that it's gonna show who can race track they are on. They've spent several months practicing eight one-eighties and two nineties and now we'll see who can adapt and race a bunch of esses.

The one- line thing never hold water unless they all finish in the order they came out of the first turn. There was a lot of passing in the esses. A good racer will find a way to make a pass.

Hell NO you aint the only one, even though Stewart is inconsistant at times, I've been a huge fan and I can only hope he sends Reid over the tuff blocks again! "thumbsup"

If Stewart knew how to operate a start gate, he'd be a lot better off. He's crap off the line and has to hang it out to work up from 5th or 7th or so and that leads to the kind of garbage he's been suffering the past couple years. Not that that's the only problem that's been hurting his career, but it's him biggest on-track problem.
